RESERVATION TERMS AND CONDITIONS

 

Thank you for choosing to book with Finca Montgó Jávea and we look forward to welcoming you. By making this booking you are entering an agreement with us. Please read our reservation terms and conditions below.

 

Payment Details

For all bookings we require a deposit. The amount of deposit payable is calculated by the number of nights and rooms you are booking at Finca Montgó. Any deposit must reach us within 5 days of making the booking.

We will send you an email confirming your booking.
 
The balance of payment is due not later than 6 weeks (42 days) prior to your arrival date.
For bookings made within 6 weeks (42 days), full payment is due immediately.

If the balance of payment is not available for any reason on the due date, the booking will be cancelled.

 

The deposit is non-refundable. All payments will be made via bank transfer (BACS or CHAPS) to our UK or ES bank account, details will be supplied on your booking confirmation.

 

Cancellation

Please note that your deposit is not refundable under any circumstances. Cancellation of any booking will only be accepted in writing or by email.

If cancellation is made between 10 weeks (70 days) and 6 weeks (42 days) before your arrival date, 80% of the total cost will be forfeited.

In the event of a cancellation within 6 weeks (42 days) of your arrival date, no refund will be made.

We reserve the right to cancel the booking as a result of war, riots, strikes, terrorism, natural disaster, fire, extreme weather conditions or similar events beyond our control. In such cases compensation will not be paid.

We would recommend that you take out appropriate holiday cancellation insurance to cover this cost.

 

Non-availability

We would only cancel your booking if accommodation was unavailable for reasons beyond our control. We would attempt to offer you alternative accommodation, however if this was not possible, or acceptable to you, then we would refund all monies paid by you. Our liability is always restricted to the value of monies paid to us. To avoid misunderstanding, we recommend all our guests to insure against cancellation.

 

Arrival and Departure

You will be sent detailed directions to reach Finca Montgó with contact details, 10 days before your arrival date.

Your accommodation is available to you from 3pm on the day of arrival, unless otherwise arranged. Please be ready to leave your accommodation by 11am on the day of departure, unless otherwise arranged. We will do our upmost to be flexible on these times where guests have very early or late flight schedules.

Only those individuals listed on the booking form are permitted to stay at Finca Montgó Jávea.

Incidental charges for extras or services taken during your stay is payable on departure in cash.

 

Linen & Towels

We provide bed linens and bathroom towels.

Pool/beach towels can be supplied for a deposit of 15€ each.

Like you, we take our responsibility towards our environment seriously. You can help us cut down enormously on water, detergent and energy by following our ‘Just like home’ approach.

  • Self Catering guests will receive a weekly change of bed linens and towels.
  • Bed & Breakfast guests will receive a change of bathroom towels every 3 days and bed linens will be changed every fifth night.

However if you are happy to have your bed linen changed less frequently, please let us know.

 

Damages and Breakages

You are responsible and liable for any breakages or damages which you or any member
of your party cause to the accommodation or its contents. Please report these as soon as they occur. We do not normally charge for minor breakages, but we reserve the right to make a charge to the guest’s credit/debit card, or we may send you an invoice for repair or making good if the damage or breakage is significant.  We may make an additional charge of 50 Euros if you did not report this.

Loss of room keys (which will necessitate a change of locks), will be charged to the client and must be paid for before vacating the premises.

 

Liability

We do not accept liability for damage, loss or injury to any member of your party or any vehicles or possessions.

 

Insurance

Whilst we make every effort to ensure the safety and comfort of our guests we cannot be held liable for any loss, damage or injury arising from the use of our property. Our guests are strongly advised to take out insurance to cover cancellation of this accommodation as well as cover for personal injury, medical and emergency expenses, loss of baggage, money, missed departure and personal liability.

 

Security Safes

All rooms have security safes which are large enough to accept a standard laptop computer. We do not accept any liability for any loss arising from their use.

 

Pets

Sorry, no pets are allowed.

N.B. We do have two cats that travelled with us from the UK in 2008. They have not been in your accommodation and they are very aware that they should not enter your apartment/guest room. However, should YOU leave your doors open they might be tempted to have a little siesta on your bed... you have been warned!

 

Smoking

Our apartments and guest room are non smoking however you are welcome to smoke on all external terraces and in the bar.

 

Swimming Pool

No liability is accepted for swimming pool use, and its use is purely at your own risk.

 

Weather

We are unable to guarantee weather conditions!

 

Discounts

A 5% discount is offered for a repeat booking within 12 months.

 

Privacy Policy

Any data collected during the course of this booking will be stored on our computer(s). We execute appropriate protection of all personal information provided. With your permission we may from time to time contact you about promotions and offers. We will not share your details with any third party.
